Ardmore Guest Farm is situated in the beautiful Champagne Valley of the Central Drakensberg region. The stunning views of the three highest mountain peaks in South Africa dominates the skyline; Mafadi (highest at 3450m), Injisuti Dome (3410m), and the majestic Champagne Castle (3377m) .
Ardmore provides cozy farm-style, bed-and-breakfast accommodation on a beautiful FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) certified, organic timber farm. We have a total of 16 units to choose from, with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms in either one of our recently-renovated garden-facing studios or one of several mountain-facing cottages. All our units have en-suite bathrooms with Jacuzzi spa baths and wood fireplaces (firewood provided). There is also a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities in every room.
A three course lantern-lit dinner is an added extra and is served in our dining room. This must be requested on arrival or at breakfast if you are staying more than one night.
Free WiFi is available in all accommodation and guest lodge.
At Ardmore there are 16 beautiful units to choose from according to your preference. We cater for groups of all sizes, from single guests to large groups. We are happy to field inquiries and help you best organise your stay with us. We have 1, 2 or 3 bed units either in our renovated garden facing studios with stunning views of Ardmore’s extensive gardens or alternatively you can book one of our mountain facing cottages of various sizes, facing South Africa’s three highest mountain peaks.
Most of our accommodation types have en-suite bathrooms with tea/coffee making facilities, Jacuzzi spa baths and showers, and a wood fireplace with limited free firewood provided. We offer accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis. A three-course, lantern lit dinner is an optional extra. Free WiFi is available in the main lodge complex and guest rooms.
At Ardmore, dining is also an experience. We serve delicious farm-style cuisine. During dining preparation, we aim to use as much locally sourced produce as possible and most of our vegetables and herbs are picked that day from our organic vegetable garden. Join us for a pre-dinner drink in the cozy bar or for a coffee and tea around the fireplace in the lounge after supper.
A traditional farmhouse breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking Ardmore’s lovely garden. Visitors may order drinks, light snacks and lunch in the tea garden or order a picnic to take and enjoy either on our farm or whilst exploring the area. Beer, wine and a limited selection of spirits are available in our bar and guests are welcome to bring their own drinks too.
